Every student who steps away from mainstream education finds a route back — not necessarily to where they left, but towards something that feels like theirs. We believe that belonging comes before engagement, and engagement before attainment.

Our Mission

No student left behind

To provide high-quality, personalised online tuition for students who are unable to access mainstream schooling, through local authority alternative provision contracts. Ember Tutors exists to ensure no student falls behind simply because they are not in a classroom.

What makes us different

Experienced with vulnerable young people

Our tutors have direct school experience with vulnerable students. They are selected for their ability to build genuine, patient relationships.

Small groups by design

Groups of two or three students, matched by level and compatibility. Students feel safe, seen, and consistent.

Re-engagement as our measure

Success means a student showing up, building rapport, and reconnecting with learning — not grades alone.
